A chartered accountant by profession, Mannix had considerable industry knowledge and developed a wide range of relationships throughout the global aircraft industry. Mannix set up Ameravia Intercontinental as a direct response to the niche market that exists to acquire one off engines and or aircraft deals by leveraging contacts that he developed over the years. Mannix brought together a group of skilled key individuals that continue to deliver and implement the business case and establish a world class global aviation business that has a number of key differentiators that will set it apart from all other players.
